      Mrs. Jennie S. Davenport, died suddenly at her room at 75 West Street on Monday evening from a heart attack. She had been in poor health since she suffered a fracture of her hip last December. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock on Friday afternoon. at the Strong Funeral Home, to be conducted by Rev. Taber Knox. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Paterson, N.J. Eastern star services will be held at the Strong Funeral Home on Thursday evening at 8 o'clock.

      Mrs. Davenport was born at Paterson June 18, 1867, a daughter of Adam Snyder and Hannah Terhune. She married Edwin S. Davenport and they resided in this village while he was employed with the Warwick Knife Co. later removing to Ellenville. Mrs Davenport returned here soon after his death about four or five years ago.

      She was a member of the Methodist Church and Warwick Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
