      He was born in Flint, Michigan on February 5, 1931 to the late E. and Bessie Fenner. He resided in Gretna, Louisiana, he was a loving father, grandfather, brother whom will be missed dearly.

      Richard leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memories, two daughters, Peggy Miller (Pete) and Renne Pierre (Steven); three grandchildren, Pete Miller, Jr., Steven Joseph Pierre, Jr., and Stephanie Lynn Pierre; two great grandchildren, Alyssa and Jon Miller; one sister, Janie Pepper and two brothers, Bruce (Eyvon) and Ward Fenner.

      Richard is preceded in death by his parents, E. and Bessie Fenner; two sister, Patricia Fenner and Geraldine Cherbenaut, three brothers, Bill, Merel and Earl Jr. Fenner.

      A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. the service starts at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
